Another Planner Page...finally

Last night, I finally created another page for my planner...puts me at a total of 11 pages + cover...only 41 more to go!  I've also been challenging myself to create more masculine cards.

My big gripe against masculine cards is no opportunity for BLING...unless you sneak in one like this gold photo hanger from CTMH. I was pretty happy when I saw in the new Idea Book that CTMH has brought back the Miracle Paper...which was a limited edition kit last year.

Twisted Sketch 80...more CTMH planner pages

I've been sick for the past two days which means I'm a bit behind. I have certain things I SHOULD be doing...like Christmas projects.  But I just couldn't resist playing with the new CTMH products that I've  had for more than a week and haven't touched!  The Twisted Sketch 80 was just the excuse I needed to create more pages for my 2011 planner:

(I do sometimes struggle with creating layouts that are smaller than 12 x 12...like the 9 x 9 pages of the planner.)

Sigh. The photos simply do not do justice to beauty of the new WINGS paper pack. Can't wait to show the new WINGS Workshop On The Go kit which has even more products in it than previous WOTG.
I try to keep my planner pages flat rather than adding bulky embellishments but I couldn't resist the new corduroy brads or Wings pre-sewn ribbon!

Here's a peak at just a couple of the new products, including the January SOTM that customers will be able to get for FREE when they purchase some of the new, fabulous products. Typically it is free with a $100 order but in January it will be available for free for a lot less!

Thanks for stopping by...I hope all my blog readers are have a stress-free holiday season!  It's one of my favorite times of year as we celebrate the Savior's birth.

Twisted Sketches: Everyday Moments

I did it.
I finally remembered to check what the "twist" was for the Twisted Sketch ahead of time! And it's "history." Since I used a photo from more than a decade ago, I can call it a historical layout :)
My layout was for an 8 1/2 " page so I got a little creative with sketch. I plan to use the sketch again on a 12 x 12 LO because I like it so much
In light of November being a time to reflect on gratitude, I'd like to say I"M SO THANKFUL FOR EVERYDAY MOMENTS. It's the little, everyday moments that have been blended together to create the beautiful water color painting of my life.

(and here's another page created for the planner...)

Thanks for stopping by! And thanks for the comments and e-mails...they make me smile.

Weekly Planner, Meet Heart 2 Heart...

I haven't been in the craft room much lately but need to get to work on my 2011 CTMH Planner before the new year arrives.  So  I've decided I'm going to try to dedicate a couple of weekly challenges to my calendar...beginning with the CTMH challenge Heart 2 Heart. This week's challenge was "pretty, pretty princess" - very easy for me since I have three daughters (and three sons!) This is a layout of our middle daughter, and is particularly fitting because she has a blog titled "Princess in a Hat" and is a true princess; a daughter of the King.  Though the paper isn't pink (while she's sometimes a girly-girl,she's also a sports fanatic and pink isn't her thing), it is certainly a girly layout!

Here's a couple more pages that I've completed but not posted. (I'm needing to keep things simple since I have sooooo much to get done.):

I've decided to add a "receipt" pocket each month after a friend told me she has a folder calendar and includes all of the important receipts for that month in it.

Thanks for stopping by!

Twisted Sketches...and a really big mess!

(Note: if anyone wants to order planners, the price has dropped from $16.95 to $12.95!! Simply visit MY WEBSITE and order item # X301 )
I didn't spend much time in the craft room today, but did make a really quick Twisted Sketches 71 layout for the CTMH planner that I'm making for 2011.  (I thought if I start now I might be finished by the end of 2011...I'm almost done with my 2010 calendar, lol...just have a December layout to make.  But hey, that's still six weeks away...)
Anyway here's the cover for my planner:

(I originally had the word "US" but then changed it to 2011 since it is my 2011 planner)

Here's what each week of the planner looks like.  I'll get to make 52 layouts to go in it!

My sister, Samantha was busy being far more productive than me, on the other side of the world. Okay, slight exaggeration but the east coast seems like a long way off. Anyway, she's one of the most organized people I know...she showed a photo of her "mess" earlier and I was thinking to myself "that girl doesn't know what a mess looks like!" So I thought I'd show her:

All I made was ONE 9 x9 layout and look:

I wish my sister lived close by...not just so we could craft together...but because some of her oranizational talents might rub off on me...
