Simple, simple graduation cards

Yikes...graduation season is here and if you are like us, you'll need a number of grad cards. These are super quick and easy ones using the Clean and Simple FTL sketch 191 and the CFC 53: Get Punchy challenges. (BTW - if you are a blog follower and not a facebook fan, check out my fb page - I recently posted more layouts for AS3's grad scrapbook :) )

Grad Card Samples....(CPS 207)

I spent a little time in the craft room after church and dinner with my family and before spending some frivolous time watching Good Luck Charlie with my gang.  Maybe it was more therapeutic than frivolous since we laughed so hard that tears turned my mascara'd eyes into raccoon eyes...and the Bible does tell  us that laughter is a good medicine! Anyway, I managed to accomplish 3 samples for a graduation invitation order; I used the CPS 207 Sketch for the first one.

I embossed and "raised"  all of the main graduation caps.

The Laugh's On Me...

I have thought it pretty funny the many comments I have received about making a cards quickly...but last night the laugh was on me! Despite two hours in the craft room, the muse still hadn't shown up and I couldn't for the life of me come up with a Father's Day card. This first card is my pitiful attempt. The others are some graduation cards...a couple of them came from my stash that I was able to convert to grad cards...I think it's always a good idea to have some versatile cards on hand. I love the bunnies jumping on the bed stamp and think it has lots of potential...birthday, graduation, or as my girls suggested...a sleepover invitation :-). I have 13 more cards to make in the next two days so I will be busy...but I still hope to have time to peruse the blogs of my "buddies" and see what others have been up to. Thanks for stopping by :-)
