H2H: Merry Christmas

I've been having computer woes...that combined with the busyness of this time of year hasn't afforded me much time for posting. But I did want to wish all of my followers the merriest of Christmases! May your hearts truly know the joy of the season.  Here's a card for the Heart 2 Heart Challenge  which is a virtual holiday card exchange.

CP 142

GET A FREE ISOM CRE8TIONS CHRISTMAS CARD! I've had a profitable month here at Isom Cre8tions and to show my thanks I'm offering free Christmas cards.  Head over to my facebook page, (there's a link on the left hand side of my blog) like it if you haven't already,  leave a comment and share my page on your facebook page and I will send you a free Isom Cre8tions handmade Christmas card  (or another occasion if you prefer. )

Since it looks like I may be losing my CTMH consultantship (my workshops have been successful enough that that is what I will be focusing on instead) I am getting used to working with some of the other (tons) of products that I have had on hand and largely neglected.  This card does use CTMH paper but the stamps are Verve and Penny Black (The letters and snowflake are CTMH). I loosely used the wonderful Card Patterns sketch 12 for the design. Thanks for stopping by!

The Last, LAST of the Christmas cards...I think

Since I sold some  of the Christmas cards I made for me, I had to go back to the drawing board. This first card was inspired by This Card by Aaron  Brown of Aaron's Booth 32.

The cute little holly berry gems were on sale at Hobby Lobby...10 for $1.  Unfortunately they only had one set of 10 left.

Christmas Cards Finished and CAS 165

With this final design using the easy Clean and Simple sketch 165, I am now finished with my Christmas cards:
I really liked this weeks's sketch!  Below are the rest of the cards I've designed for my personal use this Christmas season. I still have to create for some orders, but it's nice to have my own done :)

This is the same card as above except using my old Basic Gray papers instead of Close To My Heart.

I like to do something to the inside of the cards too.

How about you...have you started on your Christmas cards yet??/

Just thought I'd share...

Just thought I'd share that I will be putting more of my non-CTMH projects on my facebook page rather than on the blog. Can't keep up with both all the time! And I've heard from some blog followers that they don't get my updates in their blog feed :(  So feel free to click the facebook link on the left side of the blog and follow me there.
I appreciate you!

Color Challenge

This week's Heart 2 Heart Challenge  is a color challenge: Autumn Terracota, Juniper and Bamboo.  With my newly organized Room (see previous post) I have a new spot for taking pictures and the colors don't seem to be showing up quite right. But here's my take:

Recipe: Perfect Day paper, Typeset Paper,  autumn terracota, and juniper and bamboo cardsotck. Miscellaneous ribbon and stick pins, Thank You stamp set.  All products CTMH except stick pins and ribbon. The butterfly was cut with the CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge.

Reason Number 9,789,647 Why I Love The HH

He goes Dumpster Diving! Okay, so maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but remember this desk? He brought it home for me years ago when his company was moving buildings and planned to throw it out.

Well, this weekend he came home with this:

Yep, his current company was going to throw it out!

 It's U-shaped and a whopping 72" x 94" x72"!

 Lotsa work space!

When he first saw it, he contemplated how much work it would be to actually clear out enough of the craft room to fit it in. He weighed that against me having the ability to "roll my chair around a large work space" and brought it home anyway. I love that man! ( Previously I had a bunch of piecemeal "furniture" in here. )

It showcases the punch shelf that my sister Samantha's (Samies Sentiments ) husband built.

I haven't been using the Big Shot much since I got the CTMH Cricut Cartridge, but now I have room to have both the Cricut and Big shot out in the open :)

I do love the Tim Holtz dies...

Where I do most of my stamping.

And what Craft  Room is complete without a music station?  But best of all..

A cleared off table for those brutal Scrabble matches with the HH!

Card/Scrapbooking Workshop

I am having a little card making and Scrapbook workshop this weekend.  We will be making the card from my LAST POST and these two as well as a fourth one. We'll also be making a two page layout that I will post later.

I am looking forward to some girl time :)

I'm so done...I think...

The Heart 2 Heart Challenge for this week was autumn or halloween.
The cricut cartridge makes it so easy to cut things out in bulk that sometimes I get a little carried away. I cut out a full page of leaves and I am FINALLY  nearing the end of the pile. I THINK I am done with autumn cards...but ya never know ;)
The card is one we will be making at a workshop I am having this weekend along with THESE TWO.

The (large) pillow box was cut out at 8" on the portfolio setting, using the CTMH Art Philosophy. Leaves were also cut with the AP cartridge. Letters are Color eady Alphabets sprayed with reinker/water and the ribbon is the CTMH chocolate/Colonial white.
Card base and leaves cut with the AP cartridge.  Paper is a retired one...Perfect Day I THINK...

Inside of card.

And after this morning's weather, I think it's time to start working on Christmas cards:

CAS, Autumn and some more Inchie-Wannabes

I love autumn.  I love long walks and crunching leaves, beautiful foliage, crisp Colorado evenings, soups and AUTUMN CARDS!  This first one is for the Clean and Simple Sketches:
I probably shouldn't say this but "lunchtime quickies" take on a different meaning these days:

Hope you are enjoying your autumn!  Thanks for stopping by,
