And the last five pages...

I did fix the error on page 8...there was an "&" missing in Ben's quote. There is one more minor error that needs to be fixed, though...wonder who'll pick up on it? :-) There will be a final page added called "we couldn't stop at 50" for the quotes that came in this morning.

Love You book continued

Okay, here's the next pages for the book - I can only post 5 at a time.

Shhhhhh....

What I have been frantically working on for the past 24 hours is a secret...but I will be able to post it later today, when it is no longer a secret :-)
Happy Tuesday to you!

Speaking of secrets...I love this verse: The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant. Psalm 25:14 .

Thanks and Monday Morning Discovery

I want to say thanks to my friends who have wished me "get well" and/or commented on my blog. Your words are greatly appreciated.

I discovered something new this Monday morning. Perhaps it wasn't new; I just hadn't quite picked up on it yet. MY FIFTEEN YEAR OLD SON HAS SUPER POWERS!!! You heard me correctly. Just this very morning I discovered that he has the ability to change inanimate objects into whatever he wants them to be.

"Uh, Matthew, don't you want to put a coat on? It's pretty cold out this morning."

The look. "Mom, this IS a coat!"

"Oh really? It looks an awful lot like the shirt you were wearing on Friday."

"It's a coat, Mom. I'll be fine. "

"Okay. Well, you and your coat can get a ride to school this morning. It's too cold to be walking in that, um, lightweight coat."

After dropping him off at school, my mind ran wild. (I know, I know...running wild is a state of being for my mind.) If I could somehow acquire his super powers, life would be just dandy. That mountain of reeking clothes in the laundry room? I would just call it clean, folded and put away. Voila! The hamburg that will still be frozen twenty minutes before dinner time? I will call it "Casserole Extrodinaire" and head to the craft room to play. And right now? Well, I would call myself showered, dressed and ready to tackle my day...Voila. *Sigh* . No super powers here...
This (previously made) Thanks card showcases the butterfly from the Celebrate Life stamp set (C1287) and the Key To My Heart paper pack.

Thankful for the Only True Super Power, Jesus Christ,

Get well...Soon!!

I wanted to throw a temper tantrum. A full -fledged, legs flailing, arms waving, lungs bellowing tantrum. "It won't make you feel any better, " my sage husband stated matter-of-factly. "Besides, you might lose the contents of your stomach." I think I might have growled at him. I hate being sick, and certainly didn't want to spend any more wasted time in bed. I hate knowing that while I am laying in bed, staring at the crack on the ceiling and fighting nausea, the items on my to do list are mating and producing twins, triplets and octuplets.

"If you would just stay in bed and rest, you'd probably get better a whole lot faster." Scott bravely kissed me before heading out the door. Don't tell him I said so, but I suspect he's right. However, I just can't help myself. As soon as I am able to semi- function, I tend to have a vacuum cleaner in one hand and my laptop in the other. Which often lands me back in bed, ready to throw a temper tantrum...

So - not much time to make anything over the past couple of days.I've been too busy laying in bed and whining. I'm posting a tri-fold Get Well card from my stash.

Wishing you good health,

Marie with a :-)
