Finally...Blog Awards!

Jamie was kind enough to explain to me how to post the blog awards. So here goes!

Since I received two from Jamie and one from Samantha, (both would be on my list to GIVE awards to...what an honor to receive them!) I thought I'd just pick 10 people and send the two to each of them (it's about all this tiny brain can figure out!) The instructions read:

"These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated" It also says: "Please give more attention to these writers. Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award." (Friendship)

Nominate 5 to 10 blogs you feel show great attitude and gratitude. Link to your nominees within your blog post.- Comment on their blogs to let them know they've received the award. Link back to the person who gave you the award to show your appreciation. (Lemonade Stand)

So with no further ado, here are my picks:

To the following people I want to say that I feel like we are friends even though we have never met. I love perusing your blogs!

1. Carla:

2. Christi: (I have enjoyed the e-mails!)

3. Carla:

4. Jane:

5. Beth: (thanks for the cards for the troops!)

6. Gloria:

This next one is for my greatest cheerleader, my sister and my friend (as well as wonderful papercrafter!)

7. Samantha:

The next couple are the blogs of two young people who aren't showing any of their papercrafts (Ross, it might be a good thing...Sarah - you've got work worthy of posting!), but display godly character and a great way with words:

8. Sarah:

9. Ross:

And last, but certainly not least, here's to my precious 13 year old daughter who is an author in the works!

10. Michelle:

This what Jamie told me to do: click on the image and save it to your desktop. Then post it just like you do a regular photo. (How easy is that? Why couldn't I figure that out???)

Marie with a :-)

Thank you very much for the awards. I really appreciate it and all you positive feedback. Oh, the stitching on my scrapbook page is totally faux, lol. I guess I did an okay job in fooling you. Hope your having a great weekend.

Thanks so much for thinking of me, Marie! (BTW, I love what your two Carla's said...that goes ditto for me, only I hope that we can meet in person before that day since we don't live that far from each other. ;) I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get over here to check it out and thank you. Life's been crazy lately. Hope all is well with you and your family. I know I've missed a lot, so I'll be back soon to check out what you've been creating. Thanks again!

hugs and blessings!
