I'm back...with CPS 120

Those who follow my rambling thoughts blog have probably already figured out why I haven't posted anything for the past couple of days...I have been trying to nurse Alyssa through a broken heart. We've kept busy going to the pool, and on long walks and watching movies but unfortunately, the hurt isn't subsiding. And you know how it is as a mother...a child's pain is magnified in your own heart. I don't know who has shed more tears...Alyssa or me. I made this card for her with the CPS 120 sketch. The butterflies are a reminder that struggles and pain do result in something beautiful if we allow them to; the scripture is a reminder that while mankind may let us down, there is One that we can put our complete trust in and know that He never fails. I won't give it to her just yet...the pain is still too raw ...maybe in a few days...or weeks...

PS Don't forget to check out my blog candy . Also, a welcome to my new followers...my work is simple and I'm honored to have you visit my site!

I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter's pain. I hope that time will heal her wounds.

Your card is absolutley gorgeous. I love the butterflies and mostly the sentiment. If we could all obey that scripture, we'd probably all be better off.

This is a stunning card. GOREGOUS. Sorry about your daughter! watching a child suffer is just such a hard thing to bear.

Your card is beautiful, Marie! I love those colors together, and how creative that you have the butterflies being loosed from a pocket. Even though Alyssa is going through such one of life's toughest experiences, I'm sure her pain is lessened and she is being blessed by the love and encouragement you give her.
